What Is a Mediumship Reading?

A mediumship reading is an opportunity to connect with loved ones who have passed. During a reading, a medium may receive identifying details, memories, personality traits, images, sensations, or messages that help establish who is communicating.

Every connection unfolds differently. Some readings are emotional, some are validating, and others can be surprisingly light or joyful.

Do I Need to Give the Medium Information?

You shouldn’t need to provide a detailed history before your reading. I prefer to allow the connection to develop naturally and share what I receive before asking for additional information.

You can confirm whether something makes sense, and you’re welcome to ask questions as the reading develops.

Can I Ask for a Specific Loved One?

Absolutely. You can hope for or ask about a particular loved one, but mediumship doesn’t work like placing a phone call. I cannot control who comes through, when they come through, or what information is communicated.

I will never force or manufacture a connection simply to produce an answer.

Do Online Mediumship Readings Work?

Yes. Mediumship does not require the medium and client to be physically together. My private mediumship readings are conducted virtually, allowing clients throughout the United States and internationally to participate from their own space.

In-person readings with The Spirit Beacon are offered at select Chicago-area markets, private groups, and events.

How Should I Prepare for a Mediumship Reading?

There is very little you need to do. Find a quiet, private place where you can comfortably talk, and come with an open mind.

You do not need to research family history, prepare information about the person you hope to hear from, or worry about reacting to the reading in a particular way.

What If a Connection Cannot Be Established?

Specific spirits, messages, or outcomes can never be guaranteed. I will share what I receive as clearly and accurately as I can without forcing or embellishing information.

If I am unable to establish a meaningful connection during your reading, your payment will be refunded.
